Style of Food: Café

Willow’s is a café which serves light food and excellent coffee throughout the day with their grilled cheese sandwiches being a speciality. The service is attentive and friendly and the location is popular with locals, offering something a little different from the chains. As well as coffee the café offers milk-shakes and the Willows vacuum coffee is worth investigating. The café is small with only four tables and so it can get busy, but takeaways are also available. The breakfast bacon, sausage or egg baps and the home-made cakes are particularly recommended, as is the honey roast ham with apple cider chutney. Prices are reasonable, breakfast baps are around £3 and hot drinks are around £2 – £3.

The café is open from 08.30 until 16.00 on Mondays to Fridays, from 09.00 until 17.00 on Saturdays and from 10.00 until 16.00 on Sundays.
