Food Hygiene Rating: 5/5 (last rated in March 2015)
The Post and Telegraph opened in late 2010 and is one of the two central JD Wetherspoon outlets in the city. The building was once used as offices for the local newspaper (the Brighton Gazette, Hove Post and Sussex Telegraph), hence the name, and the pub offers a very grand interior. The usual reasonably priced food and drink is available including an excellent selection of real ale. Free wi-fi is available in the pub, although the food and drink is a little more expensive than its nearby counterpart, The Bright Helm.
The pub is open from 08.00 until 00.00 on Mondays to Thursdays, from 08.00 until 01.00 on Fridays and Saturdays and from 08.00 until 23.30 on Sundays.
